What is a labyrinth?

I first discovered labyrinths while visiting one at the Franciscan Renewal Center in Paradise Valley, AZ on the advice of a dear friend. It is a round circle of pathways that slowly lead to the center that not only invites you in, but can welcome you back to who and what you really are. It is not directly tied to any particular religion or belief system, but it is a symbol of a journey; a spiritual renewal that can be found at churches, schools, prison and hospital grounds, parks and gardens.   I have found it to be a helpful tool for slowing down and mindful introspection

I can’t say I have found the answers to the universe or even find any answers at all on some visits, but I have found answers to questions and it sometimes  provides unity and balance and it has allowed my mind and breath to slow down and I hope it will help you do the same.
